New Construction Industrial Manufacturing Facility
Through the design-build process, Sternberg Electric created a Value Engineering package for this project that saved the customer money without sacrificing quality.
The facility is all new construction, built from the ground up, and consists of approximately 30,000 square feet of heavy industrial manufacturing and about 12,000 square feet of office space.
Specialty Industrial Wiring Methods
The buildings’ function – manufacturing of petroleum and liquid handling parts and equipment – means we employ several different specialty wiring methods which include class 1 division 1 locations and class 1 division 2 locations.
The project consists of commercial wiring installation methods, such as:
- MC cable and EMT on lighting and branch circuit wiring
- Explosion-proof wiring methods in the classified locations of the industrial facility
- This specific project also includes a paint/spray booth, sand blasting booth and a steam/test slab where petroleum liquids are steamed out to a safe level for repairs.
The project above gives a great example of the many commercial industrial electrical projects completed by Sternberg Electric across the Minneapolis Metro area and Greater Minnesota.
We come with all the tools, equipment, and experience needed for an industrial electrical project of this capacity such as wire tuggers, aerial lifts, and boom lifts.
Sternberg Electric worked very closely with our customers to make sure all their electrical needs are met on their projects while maintaining the highest quality of workmanship and safety.
