Community Donations and Outreach
Sternberg Electric Service enjoys supporting various community, civic, and charitable organizations in St Paul Minneapolis. We donate labor, materials, and direct funding as a way of giving back to the communities we serve.
Below are some of the people, events, and goodwill organizations we support.
Ramsey County Sheriff's Foundation
The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Foundation have honored Ramsey County youngsters who are part of their school safety patrols for over 50 years with fun-filled events.Nearly 1,000 elementary School Patrol members celebrate at Aldrich Arena and the Goodrich Golf Dome in Maplewood, MN each year. Sternberg Electric donates electrician labor and materials for this event.
City of Edina Veteran's Memorial
The Edina Veterans Memorial is located in Utley Park. It honors veterans of all the armed forces, including the 32 native and adopted sons of Edina who died in the time of war.
Sternberg Electric donated financially to this $450,000 budgeted project and was named on the Donations plaque. Construction began in the fall of 2014 and was completed just before Memorial Day in May of 2015.
Hometown Community Events and Volunteering
Columbus Lions Club
Though Lions Club International is a global organization, each local club is deeply committed to helping and serving their own community. As an active member and contributor of the Columbus Lions for many years, we've partnered with amazing people who are raising money for local humanitarian efforts, awarding grants, serving our youth, and responding to disasters. It's an honor to donate time, labor, and funding to this club.
City of Columbus Annual Fall Festival
In addition to being a member of the committee for years, Sternberg Electric sponsors events, provides the ice cream for the ice cream social, and donates labor and material for temporary electrical power during the Columbus fall festival.
Owner, Garth Sternberg, has also served on the City of Columbus Planning Committee in various positions, including Chair.
